The historic village of Adare is on your route and is well worth a visit.

This is the one longer than normal drive on this trip, it takes about 2 hours. Kinsale, which is in county Cork, is a lively sailing and fishing village with a reputation for fine restaurants, so a visit after golf is recommended. Golf at Old Head Carts and caddies are available at Old Head; if you use a cart, a fore caddies is mandatory for each four-ball.
If you prefer not to drive to Kinsale, just call us and we will adjust this itinerary to include a night in Kinsale at the start of the trip.

Golf at Lahinch One of Ireland’s “must sees”; the Cliffs of Moher are 15 minutes drive north of Lahinch – a fascinating sight, worth a visit. As is the BurrenNational Park. Day 8: Leave Lahinch for Shannon airport, a 45 minute trip. It was here that Irish coffee was invented in the late 1940’s. Shannon has a big Duty Free shop to explore, but remember that international visitors can reclaim Value Added Tax at Departure on all purchases taken home.
